History
Accurate Brake & Muffler was purchased in 1991 by Jim Ward. Jim has been a hands on owner since day one. He started out on his own and for many years ran all aspects of the business. Because the business is a smaller, family run business, it has a very comfortable relaxed atmosphere. They offer advice to help you understand your vehicle and to make the right informed decisions guaranteeing the job will be done right the first time. They take great pride in their customer service.

Meet the Business Owner: Jim W.
Jim Ward was born and raised in Langley. At 19 years old, he was the youngest journeyman mechanic to graduate the course and received his full Red Seal Technician status at 21. Jim then spent 6 months living in Los Angeles where he worked for Ak Miller (known for Bonniville salt flat racing as well as Pikes Peak) before returning to Langley. Not happy being away from home he came back to Langley and settled into building his newly purchased business. 22 years later, Jim is still as busy as ever. He has spent time mud racing accumulating many trophies and is happily married with one child. As a family they enjoy snowmobiling, ATV’ing, skiing, camping and hunting as well as any other outdoor adventure. You can find him at the shop with the family on any given day.
